Taryn McCabe is a Bay Area artist who works in multiple fields and a variety of media. Taryn has always had a passion for art and creativity. Her interests took her to Alfred University, where she studied sculpture, glassblowing, mixed media and woodworking.
After she graduated she worked with glass in Vigevano, Italy and then on to Japan where she was able to flex her knowledge in sculpture. When she returned home to San Francisco, she started teaching classes in jewelry making and design and although this kept her local for a couple years, it was not long until she was off again; to London, England to pursue a certificate in footwear.
Taryn is currently back in San Francisco, pursuing many interests. Among these interests is a Masters in Fine Arts at San Francisco State University with a focus in Conceptual Information Arts as well as her own Business in Jewelry Design.
